Your contribution, made payable to “For the Kids of Cedar Hill” will give us a tremendous boost and provide the help we need to successfully execute this campaign. Donations will also be accepted as an online payment through our PayPal account using email address forthekidsofcedarhill@gmail.com. Please include your name and address in the comments. Contact us through that same email if you'd like to coordinate dropping off or mailing a check.

 

EDUCATE & ADVOCATE

• Talk to parents and encourage them to vote. Refer voters to DallasCountyVotes.org for dates, locations and times.​

 

• Invite everyone to join the conversation at the For the Kids of CH Facebook page and share the page’s items with your Facebook friends/pages/groups: https://www.facebook.com/forthekidsofch 

 

• Yard Sign: Put a sign in your yard or place of business. You will be able to request a yard sign soon!

• Endorse: We need letters from community members telling their story of why they are voting in support of the bond election. Letters can be just a few sentences and will be posted on Facebook and sent to local newspapers. Please feel free to submit a photo along with your letter. You can send letters and photos to forthekidsofcedarhill@gmail.com.

 

GET INVOLVED

• Phone Calls and Text Messages: We need people to help get out the vote during early voting and election day. Program and script will be provided.

 

• Neighborhood Meetings and Block Walking:  We need people to walk key voting neighborhoods as well as their own to talk to people about the bond election. Hosting neighborhood meetings at your home or neighborhood facilities is also a great way to gather support! This one is a great way to involve your kids in the process!

 

• Yard Sign & Flyer Distribution: We need help blanketing the community in signs and flyers. Help take a stack to your friends and neighbors or distribute at key community locations or events.

• Work the Polls: It will be important that as voters arrive at the polling locations, they quickly see an outpouring of support for the bond election. We need volunteers to work the polls during Early Voting and Election Day to talk to voters, pass out flyers and put up extra signage.
